It's COLD!

I've had a wonderful weekend but man is it getting cold! Mom just doesn't understand that with my shirts on, and a coat, I don't like all that stuff on me in my car seat. It's TOO many layers...I whine but she and Dada don't get it. (So I just go to sleep instead.) My mom took me to "work" with her on Sunday night and I had a great babysitter--Dr. Antenucci, my mom calls him Dr. A. I like A's! Double A (Ann Antenucci) is one of the funniest people I know, we can't stop laughing when we are together...I guess we get kind of distracting, but she is really fun. And she made me some pasta this week, good thing I loved it or my dad would have been really mad at me. (He likes that place for dinner, but he was sick so he didn't get to come with us.) While my mom was busy making bows, Dr. A and I played on the floor with two new friends--Brutus and Piper, one is chocolate--but I can't eat him, and the other is yellow. Dr. A even took me to meet Mr. Claus, he was really cool--I just couldn't stop looking at him. We also saw the nativity and all the animals, but my favorite thing out there is that windmill. I can find it all the time, even when I'm inside. One of my mom's favorite people is coming home from Australia on Monday. I can't wait to meet him in person. My parents say I'll love him...I bet I do!

Thanksgiving Fun

What is this? Am I at Disney Land? Guess not but it felt like it...at my grandparents farm, we just play, and play, and play. Last time I saw these guys I couldn't do anything. Freeman is much bigger. It took me a second or two to start playing because my mom NEVER let me have these suds. I really like 'em! By the end of the tub time, I was showing these fellas how to swim. I'm pretty good, I guess, because 8 adults were in the room watching me swim. I don't need lessons, I'm really very good and I'm fast! I think my dad is afraid, with these webbed toes of mine, he is nervous I might beat Uncle Patrick and Uncle Mark at the backstroke. (Both of those guys would be very embarrassed.) Do all good swimmers have beards?--because they both do and I don't want one! But, that is another thing I love right now. PULLING them is fun!
I ate a lot on Thanksgiving, twice. I gained over 1 lb that week and so this week I have really had to slow down. I'm trying to cut back a little, but with all this crawling I want to do...I need some food! Real soon I'll show you my latest trick. I don't have to stay down when Mama and Dada put me in my crib, I crawl all around and can even pull my bears. Why won't they want to come down and play with me? I'll be nice to them!

7 mos. old!

I started to crawl backwards this past weekend. In fact I didn't even see that couch behind me until my legs were under it and I couldn't go anywhere. I was at Camp Piqua so my mom could play some cards with my Nana and Great Gramma. She lost badly, I think last place....but I got to stay home with Papa, and we played all day and all night! I am getting really close to grabbing my friend Clinton's tail. He's really soft and I like to touch his back, my Aunt Mindy lets me play with him a lot. Nana let me grab some food FINALLY--no one has ever let me do that, especially not my Dad, he won't share at all. AND I learned to say his name, I say it all the time, but he doesn't care...he is not good at sharing. Maybe I should learn Nana or Mama next. I gotta go and take a nap...I get real sleepy from playing all the time and I love this weather. Leaves are NEAT!

I'm 6 mos OLD!!!

Wow, where does the time go, I'm growing up fast? I went to my first Reggae Run the first weekend in October and cheered on my Aunt Emily and Uncle Patrick (who is pretty funny btw) as they ran by me. I was visiting my mom's friends who just moved here from Arkansas, and my Aunt and Uncle ran right by their house--it was fun. I got to eat my dinner at the kids table with their 3 big kids, we giggled a lot--and I thought I was pretty big stuff. Here's a picture of me with Mary-- :)
The biggest parties of the year are in October I guess. This month is FUN! On Oct. 9th my Great Grandmother turned 90. We had a great day outside to celebrate her birthday, it was a really special day for her. There were so many people and I got passed around a lot and finally got to meet my two newest cousins, Adelyn and Maddox. She is 4 weeks older than me, and he is 4 weeks younger than me. My Great Grandma actually made my baptismal gown, 40 years ago for my Aunt Mindy, when she was the first grandchild--now there are lots of us! My Papaw picked out my outfit for her party and everyone thought I looked like some Ohio football coach, but I think he did a good job.
My mom left me for 2 days to celebrate Aunt Mindy's 40th birthday and then my dad left for 6 days to go shoot some bird that sounds like an F but starts with a P I guess.....I missed him a lot! When I saw him the first time I couldn't even drink my milk b/c I just wanted to smile at him and have him hold me. I was really glad he came home. I didn't get to try any of that bird but he did let me try venison this weekend, and I LIKE IT--I bet if I'm good, someday I'll be able to leave mom behind and hang out with Dad and Grandpa!!! AND, we have two more parties this coming weekend. My cousin Tom just keeps getting bigger and bigger and has a birthday. Plus I get to watch him and Sarah Jane on Halloween. Mom says I'm too little to eat all the stuff they have but I can watch all the big kids in their costumes. I can't wait, I hope I don't get scared!

I'm loving life!

Things are great. I had a nice weekend with my family, and a great time at my Baptism. I wasn't scared at all and there were so many people praying for me that I smiled and giggled the whole time! We are finally back home for a couple of weeks. This traveling thing gets me all out of sorts and I love my own bed. This past week I took lots of walks with my mom and her friends. We were down on the Ohio River with Julie and Janelle and then Sat. we wore special t-shirts and supported our friend Pat Fischer!

I'm a FREQUENT FLYER

It's been a hard 2 weeks. :) I'm just kidding, Dad wishes I had a Skymiles number. I completed my 11th flight yesterday as I returned from Florida with my parents and Nana & Papa. It was a little bit busy, because we sold a house my mom and grandparents have loved for a very long time. My mom cried a little as she left the beach yesterday but mostly we played A LOT, so she was OK. There was lots for me to get into as we packed boxes and shipped them out. I was in the Gulf of Mexico AGAIN--I can't wait to go back. My dad gets a little nervous about his toes getting caught on a fish hook, but I don't worry a bit and love watching the seagulls, crazy bathing suits and hearing those waves. It makes me really tired!
Last weekend I was with my cousin Freeman. He was really funny and sometimes I squealed so loud at him that it made him cry. But he still played with me and shared all of his toys...wow do I miss those toys, he has some great ones. I got to hang out with my Aunt Kate at the park and my Uncle Jeff reads lots of books, I like that! Freeman even let me sleep in his bed. I have no idea where I sleep these days because it is ALL over the GLOBE! Did I tell you I was in a hotel in Baltimore, MD too, in the past 2 weeks. I'm ready to just be home for awhile, I mean I'm only 5 1/2 mos. old, I'm just a little guy!
