18 mos. gone, I'm on to bigger and better things!

Well my 18 mos has ended.  I'm onward towards 2 now.  Things are changing all the time.  I still love playing outside and I don't care what the temperature is.  My dada now pushes me down the roller coaster and I'm as close to the fence as I can get.  Pretty soon I'll have to climb over that thing.  Kind of like my bed, I can climb out of it now...but it's not as soft as the leaves at the bottom of the roller coaster.  I saw lots of little beds at IKEA today and I really liked those, hope I get one soon.  I had a great Halloween.  My dad took me out in my new wagon, from Gigi, and we got lots of candy.  I love those red fisheys--they are way better than the goldfish crackers (but I love those too).
More things I love to do:  I love to dig, man do I love to dig, and I love to rake and I love diggers and I love to watch my dad mow and I also love to do puzzles and watch firetrucks and ambulances.   

18 mos old!  And wow....I'm having a ball, life just keeps getting better and better.  I love raking, sweeping with the "boom" in the garage, digging in the dirt and in the "box, my new sandbox.  I love
quackers and eat way too many of them!  I love my Uncle Mark, probably the best right now, but my mom gets mad b/c I always lift up my shirt to show off my belly--he taught me that shirts are for jerks, I can't say it yet, but I'll get it!  If something is outside, then I'm there.  There are diggers outside my house everyday and I love them!  I like to race my mama and dad and say "Ready, set, go!"  I can count to ten, but two and nine are my favorite numbers.  I can climb up on beds all by myself and I'm perfecting a somersault once I get there.  :)  My cousins are very entertaining and I love my grandparents and Gigi a lot.  They get lots of hugs and kisses. 

Oh yea...I'm fasinated with windmills and deer.  I wish my dad could get me both...

My new roller coaster....

My sitter Betsy thought I would really enjoy this roller coaster and she knows me TOO well, I love it! It is a great addition to my backyard. Mama had it in our house for a few days but Dad thought it was WAY to dangerous, so out it went, and out I go to ride it! My mom went back to school yesterday and so I am back playing with all my fellas at Betsy's. It is so fun I didn't nap the first day and was asleep by 7:20 that night--it was really fun!

Summertime!!!

A month with lots of cousin TIME!

Been a pretty good summer. This is my mom's last week home with me. I've become extremely attached to her and since last week, really prefer her over most others. Oh well...all good things must come to an end and I'm back with my boys at Betsy's on Thursday, bigger and better and ready to HANG! They aren't going to believe how fast I can run!

Sarah Jane is 2 and she is kind enough to share most things with me, including blowing out her birthday candles. She and I played outside with my dad a lot that day, she is a good buddy. THEN, just a few days later we all went swimming at "Michael Jackson's Cincinnati Estate"....or somewhere like that. It was the coolest pool we had ever seen and Tom and I played in the sprinklers on the side of the pool. My mom and I went down the water slide and Uncle Patrick helped me at the end. It was really big and Aunt Emmy was very afraid--but NOT ME! I also went to the zoo with those guys, my cousin Tom knows everything--I have never been on a merry-go-around before and he showed me just what to do!

It's been a rough month too. My dad didn't see my little fingers and we had to make a trip to the Emergency Room. We all wore heavy gowns and they took pictures of my little fingers, but everthing was fine. Just swollen and different colors. My Dad and I both screamed a lot! He's been a lot more careful around our doors since....

Yesterday my Nana and Papaw and Gigi came over for lunch and we did lots of playing. I have a new roller coaster in my backyard so I had to show them how fast it is. Hopefully my cousin Freeman will be here soon so I can show him how it works. It's been pretty nice outside, so I'm out there A LOT! Gotta get some lunch....

I love the beach!

This has been the best summer of my life! :) I have always loved being outside and loved water but now I get to do both things almost every single day. We went back to the beach and it was right outside our window, I got to run lots! Then we visited one of Mom's friends in Ft. Myers and even tho' dad did all the fishing, I got to shoot at the glass door on the porch with a shotgun, Mama was really not to happy about it! The plastic things stuck to the window and it was really funny to pull them off. I still have all my old favorite things to do, play lacrosse, read and sing, but now I can run really fast. But still my dad won't let me play with his toys. I know how to blow the sidewalk and I know I can push that mower, but he never lets me....I practice all the time in the garage and he just won't start it up for real! He's even my favorite right now.....poor mama. She takes me swimming and shows me the deer in our backyard and takes me to the playground, but Dad is the heart I need to win over, I want to MOW!!!

My 1st year picture

I keep forgetting to put my 1 year picture up. Well my mama does....and look at these clothes, you won't catch me wearing jeans now, I'm a shorts and swim trunks kind of guy these days. I spend most afternoons at the pool and I am loving it. This week I was also able to play in the Elmo spray toy in my backyard with Sarah Jane. We gobbled down a lot of blueberries running around Mr. Elmo. My dad says I have a similar gene w/my cousin Tom because we both have a love of the vacuum. But today my parents were laughing at me as I took off the attachment and with my motor mouth blew all around my room. I've seen my dad use his blower a lot and this week some guys took down a tree in my backyard. I almost peed my pants watching them blow all the stuff around....then they used a chipper and my mom thought for sure I was going through the window. It might have been the best day of my life! She took lots of pictures of me that day...you can expect those at some point but we are kind of busy to be using the computer these days, there's not time to sit around. I have showed her how I can open the front door, I can open the pantry door, I can open the stove and the dishwasher and today I climbed up my dad's ladder, all by myself. Even though that Dr. told me today I'm only 31% in height I can pretty much "do whatever I want". Looking forward to a big weekend....see ya later.

My mama is finished with school and we are doing lots of great stuff. I love my new backyard and I can get into lots of stuff back there. I'm fired up when I get up in the morning....well I'm always fired up and ready to play at any time. We celebrated Grandma's bday and I sat at the kids table for the first time, no one thought I could do it, but Gramma did and she was right--I'm a big boy too! It's basically a kids' buffet.

.....I also love water, I have to take a break once in awhile. We have an Elmo in our backyard who gets me REAL wet. Mama and Dada have taken me to the pool almost every day. I paint the concrete and go underwater and walk the steps in and out of the big pool. I also had to go to Cincinnati Children's this week. My mama's friend Julie let me play in this colorful area while Mama checked me in. Mama doesn't let me stand on tables but Jules did, she said it wasn't really a table. After I cried, a lot, because they pricked my arms, we went to the zoo. It was a blast and I can't wait to go back. I'm really into trains and basketball nets right now, and at the zoo I get to ride the train every time. But the lady who bruised my arms, said no more eggs for awhile. Too bad b/c my dad makes a mean omelette.....

Lovin' Life!

I've been having such a fun time lately. I just wish I could go outside everyday. I learned how to open the front door and if I give my shoes to Mama and Dada we go right out. I've got the routine down, but they don't take me out as often as I would like. This shower outside is not warm enough for me. Sometimes Mama just lets me sit in the shower after I play in the rain and it's much warmer in there.

My cousin turned 2 on Sunday and we had a wonderful weekend celebrating HIM. Wish he lived closer, because he could read me books and he and Tom know a lot about trains. I like those guys! I was the first one to ride the tractor with my Grandpa and I played in a sandbox for the first time ever. I'm going to love our beach vacation this summer. I have started to give out lots of hugs and kisses, especially to my girls Margot and Emily at Betsy's each day. But today I had a special visit from Dada and he got a big hug and several pats on the back--it was a great surprise.

I also have some good buddies I play with on Fridays when I'm not at Betsy's. This week I get to play again at my buddy Elias' house--who just gave me a lot of cool tools. But last Friday I was with my Aunt Mindy and it was there that I truly masterd the hugs and kisses. I get to do almost anything with her, I just have to kiss her...

It's tough learning STUFF!!!

I really like to figure out how things work. I had a great birthday but since then we have being taking all my stuff to our new house and there is just lots of new things for me to learn. My favorite toy right now is the rake and the broom. They are pretty fun but sometimes my parents think they are too big for me. (I hear from my buddies at daycare this is going to be the story of life!) Anyway, sometimes I get to play with them.....and I LOVE THEM!!! My papaw let me play with them a lot and I had to change my pants a few times b/c I get really dirty. This particular day though, I was trying to play with the rake and Dada would not let me hold it all by myself. I know how to do it but then he said OK, it's nap time and well....I didn't act like a big boy.

It's been a really great day! I have had such fun today. I walked 16 steps to Mama this afternoon at Betsy's. She had a delicious apple and it really distracted me from falling. :) Then I watched Mama and Dada sign lots of papers as they bought me a new house for my 1st birthday! We got ice cream on the way to the house and when I got inside, I just played and played in all the new space. Within 5 minutes of being there, Dada came in and got me, zipped me in his coat and took me out in the backyard. It was so cool, he was really "trigger happy" I guess, b/c he counted 5 deer for me in our backyard. They were so close, I can't tell if Dada liked that or not. This new place is going to be GREAT!!! There are so many trees and these deer things really made my dada crazy--this is going to be a BIG adventure. Hmm........ Looking forward to seeing all my relatives on Saturday!

I really love this truck!

I've been doing a lot of pushing lately. Grandpa Moore got a big tractor and I know he won't let me ride on it until I'm big, so I've been doing some weights and lots of reps, to get stronger, of course. This is my buddy Margot, she is 6 mos. older than me and sometimes I just like to show her how chivalrous I am, so I just push her around in it. At home, I push my high chair, the stools, and my push truck, EVERYWHERE, I can zoom around with that thing. I took 7 steps today, but what's the big hurry?
I played outside so much this week, I'm a little sad that it's cold today. I cried when Mama put me in the car. Dada has taken me to the slide for the last couple of days and today we won't get to go. :( I wish you guys could have seen his hair last night after we went down that big slide, no pictures unfortunately, but he called it static, I liked it a lot. When I sit on his shoulders I love playing with it.

I love SPRING!

I'm going to be 1 really soon and everyone keeps telling me how big I'm getting. But Dada actually let me climb the slide and go down a few times. I'm big, right now, not just when I'm 1. I went to Chicago last weekend and met a great new friend his name is Lucio, and we are best friends. He is just 3 lbs less than me, but we both get around at the same speed. We played a lot, do you think I'll get a dog for my birthday? I already know I'm getting a new house this year, so I'll probably have to wait a little bit on a dog. But it was my first word!

TGIF

It's been a tough week. I've been a little under the weather but I still manage to get around pretty well. My dada is back from his ski vacation and I missed him! I like playing with that guy, we play hard. Finally got my car working. Now I can get in and out with out any issues, it's been a tough couple of weeks figuring out how that door worked. Just figured out the best place to work on it and now the fellas and I have it working pretty smoothly. Now if I only I could help Mama's car. The blue car she takes me everywhere in, has a lot of jobs: it's a coat rack, a snack shop, a toy box and hauls me around....we gotta get that thing cleaned out!

I'm back!!!

My mom lost her camera. Well really she left it at the Echo and no one "turned it in". It's been kinda nice she's not flashing at me all the time, but she was really miserable so I'm letting her get some shots now. Mostly because it's been a great, great month. I had ice cream for the first time. Graeter's--I shared cinnamon & pumpkin pie with my dad and mama. I couldn't get enough but again, my dad is not a good sharer. I, on the other hand, am learning to share and practice it everyday. My mom says please, and I give her my toy, then she says Thank You--and in sign language too. We play this everyday and it really makes her smile, so I keep playing with her. My favorite book right now is the Wheels on the Bus from my cousin Freeman, my mama and dada try to hide it, but I can spot it anywhere and like to read it over and over. Since it's been so long since I caught up with you I better tell you I walk around all the furniture and just today took 2 steps without holding on. I also said dog and ball yesterday, well kind of. Today I just said dog a lot, so maybe I really can't say ball. My mama thinks I say thank you and down, but I'm just fooling her. :) My Nana and Papaw are heading to Siesta Key this week and visiting with the Antenucci's...My Grandma is STILL in Englewood, FL and My dada leaves to ski tomorrow morning in Colorado. Maybe when all the people I love get back, I'll walk and show them what they missed. (Because I miss them already.)

1st Ear Infection

I saw the Dr. this week and I didn't have to get any shots. It was very fun, I read some books and played with a lot of paper. And when we left I was able to drink some pink stuff--it's bubble gum flavored and I really don't like it, but I do it nicely. I've had lots of time with Mama and Dada this week. Mama had a snow day one day, so we played lots. And, my babysitter couldn't watch me on Weds. so I got to work all morning at Moore Equipment Co. I was a big helper and recycled lots of paper for Dadadadada. It took my over 30 minutes to get it all organized just like I wanted it. There's lots of things I love right now. I really like to crawl into the bathroom and stand by the tub and knock all the stuff into it--it's loud and fun. I also take the clothes out of the drawers in Mama and Dada's bedroom. Mom likes when I help her clean stuff up. But one of my favorite things is taking hte DVD's over to the DVD machine--Mama does not like it when I do that. Skyping is something I do almost everyday too because I'm so good at using the keyboard on this computer. I talk to my grandparents and Aunts & Uncles and it is fun. My mom's good friend left for Singapore today. So now I can skype with her! I sent her a picture this week with my new jersey--her favorite team. And my tree farm friends leave next week too. I'm going to have lots of Skype friends!!! Ok, I just got real tired...ni-night!

I'm on the MOVE!

I like to move it move it! I'm busy all the time now and can explore and move everywhere--and I love it. Today I went and played with my mom's aunt and her cousins. They played with me on the floor and I had a great time. But tonight I played with my dad and we were every where in our house. I'm going to walk soon....I hope my mom's not mad! I'll show you as soon as I do, but for right now, you can watch how big I am riding a bike!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mobile!!!

I've been extremely busy since I've been on the move. I started crawling on Dec. 13th but that only got me around the living room. NOW, I can go everywhere. I visit the bathroom, and play in the kitchen and I love this little springy thing behind the door. And, now my dad really likes taking me places because I talk to everyone and embarass him a lot! In Florida we even went for a bike ride. One of my favorite places he takes me is the grocery. I have lots of friends there and meet more with each visit. On Saturday he took me to the Crohn conservatory. I saw a cave and lots of plants, but the coolest thing I saw was a donkey and that baby Jesus again. :)This week I started back at "Betsy's". I yelled HI...and waved to all my old friends there Monday morning. But today it has all caught up to me. I'm REAL tired and I do not like to take naps when mom's friends are visiting her. This week Paul, and KC, and Oscar came by. They like me....and I don't want them to miss seeing me. We all play together nicely! I got big brown chair in the mail this week, just like Dad's, so now I can crawl around in it. I haven't figured out how to get out of it yet, but when I fall forward I don't cry--I'm a big boy--no tears.....well UNLESS I'm really hungry. I went to the Dr. this week too, see why I'm so tired? And I weigh 21 lbs now and am almost 10 inches longer than when I was born. I only had to get 1 shot this time so it wasn't so bad. Off to bed....(yawn...)
